TYPE: Peru. Ohne genauen Fundort, gesammelt 1983 von F. Fuchs, USA, flowered in cultivation at Munich, in kultur bei J & L Orchids, CT, USA, W. Königer WK-68 (holotype, M; isotypes, K, UNALM, USM; illustration of type).
